December naturally gives us those end of year feels that make us want to reflect. So….how has your year been? Are you the same person you were when the year started?
I don’t know about you, but I have a feeling that 2021 will always stand out to me. It was full of once-in-a-lifetime experiences–although I am all for having more of these in the future.
For me, this past year has been about taking risks, giving myself permission to do the things I feel drawn to, and to live and express myself more authentically. I am beyond grateful for the experiences, lessons, and people that have been a part of my journey this last year.
So before you start thinking about your goals and intentions for the next year…
I encourage you to take a moment to reflect on what this year has been like for you. Taking the time to reflect helps us learn from our experiences, choose our frame of view on the past, and essentially grow as a person.
Whether you take a screenshot of these questions to look over later or make it a “whole vibe” by dedicating some time to be fully present, light a candle, get your favorite journal, crystal, whatever–I hope you enjoy looking back on your year.
Reminder: Give yourself credit, life on Earth in 2021 has been no walk in the park.
I suggest choosing at least 5 of these prompts to reflect on in your journal or just printing the whole graphic:
When you finish your reflections, take another moment of gratitude, then feel free to move on with your day or do a fun ritual like burn sage to say good-bye to the energy that’s in the past.
I’ll be back next month with a guide on setting your intentions for the new year, so stay tuned!
